Price Beat terms explained
A quick reference for the terms used in requests, offers and emails.

Requests and decisions#
- Pending
- A customer request awaiting a staff decision.
- Preparing offer
- An approval saved while its native promotion and coupon are being prepared or reconciled.
- Accepted
- A request approved with recorded offer terms. Check its separate offer status for current availability.
- Declined
- A request declined without creating a coupon.
- Variant
- The particular product option combination selected for the request.
Offer terms#
- Agreed unit price
- The approved price per eligible unit, on the declared tax basis.
- Maximum quantity
- The most eligible units allowed in the offer’s one redemption.
- Expiry
- The deadline for using the offer.
- Coupon
- The unique code attached to a native BigCommerce promotion. Codes are transferable.
- Offer link
- A product link that opens the guided redemption flow for an offer.
- Redeemed
- BigCommerce reports that the coupon has been used.
Notes, email and data#
- Internal staff note
- A private review note included in merchant exports but never in customer emails.
- Accepted by email service
- The provider accepted the message; inbox delivery is not confirmed.
- Metafield
- A BigCommerce data field used to keep the store’s Price Beat records.
- JSON export
- A structured download of settings and request history for merchant records.
