What is stored with your store#
Requests, customer contact details, product snapshots, decisions, offer terms, email state, internal notes and history are stored in private BigCommerce store metafields. Store settings are stored there too. Native promotions, coupons and their usage are held in BigCommerce.
These request records are not public storefront data. Staff access is scoped to the store opened through BigCommerce. The app also needs installation credentials and operational hosting to run the workflow.
Download a copy#
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to Your request data.
- Select Download JSON export.
- Save it in your store’s private storage.
The export includes personal information, internal notes and coupon codes. It retains request and email history, but coupon references are not a live redemption report. Refresh offer status in the app when checking current availability.
Before uninstalling#
Export your data and review outstanding offers first. Uninstalling stops app access and processing. The app’s uninstall handler does not delete stored business records or native offers, so uninstalling should not be treated as cancelling coupons.
Independent access and retention after uninstall still require verification with a merchant-owned API account. Ask Web Force 5 to plan that check and your recovery process before relying on post-uninstall access. Reinstallation can read retained history, while unfinished approvals need deliberate review and old queued emails do not automatically resume.
